How to use a thong cutter lacemaker tool
Instructions
FIG 1. Start by cutting approximately 11/2 inch (40mm) diameter hole in the centre of leather piece.
Select the proper width slot for thickness of leather being used.
For easier starting of lacemaker into cut, hold leather between first two fingers, thumb and third finger. Push cutter against leather and push farward until a small bit of lace appears beyond the back of the cutter.
FIG 2. Grasp small lace projection and pull allowing the leather to rotate.
Continue until a leather lace of desired length is obtained or outer edge of leather piece is reached.
To remove a dull cutter or place in a different groove for a different width of lace, push top spring up and lower spring down. Lift out cutter and discard or change groove, then replace springs to original position.
